The Easter Carnival given by Interim Mayor Jenkins at Arroyo Viejo Recreation Center & Park was a huge success Saturday, April 19th. If you were in attendance, we hope you had an amazing time. If not, oh well!! You missed out on music, games, food, prizes…fun for the entire family. There were a little over 400 people in attendance on a nice sunny day. (For more photos)
Included during the carnival was a celebration of Mayor Elect Barbara Lee's victory. She gave a little speech thanking everyone for their support. She also gave some tidbits about some of her plans as the new Mayor.
Also in attendance was Interim Mayor Kevin Jenkins, D7 Councilmember Ken Houston, and At Large Councilmember Rowena Brown. There was also a special appearance by U.S. Representative Jasmine Crockett.
